Home-Based Exercise and Remote Rehabilitation System
The Alpha System is a rehabilitation tool designed around motor-relearning activities for individuals recovering from neurological impairments. Based on the Motor Relearning Approach (MRA), it uses movement tracking and feedback on movement control by analysing the dynamic relationship between the center of gravity (CoG) and the base of support (BoS). It provides feedback that can support functional movement training, supporting guided movement practice with activities related to functional movement and daily tasks.
Key Features of Alpha
Physical and Cognitive Activities
Alpha combines movement tracking with guided physical and cognitive activities that can be selected for home-based and remote rehabilitation programs.
Assessment-Based Profiles
The system generates personalized profiles based on assessments. Care teams can review these profiles when selecting and adjusting activities.
Functional Movement Activities
Activities can be selected around functional movement patterns relevant to everyday tasks.
Real-Time Feedback
Alpha provides real-time feedback during guided rehabilitation activities, helping participants understand their movements during guided practice.
